Outline Of What Will Happen In The Opening Sequence

A girl leaves a shop in a busy high street, and walks home. During her journey home she is followed by an unknown character. She doesn't realised she is being followed and at the end of the scene she gets abducted.

We are intended to switch perspectives from the girl who is unaware and the kidnapper, who is following her. We intend to create suspense and tension through a combination of slow editing, music and certain unsettling camera shots and angles. We intend to leave the sequence on a cliff hanger, so that the audience want to watch on. We want to create enigma regarding what will happen to the victim, but also regarding the identity of the kidnapper.

Titles For Our Opening Sequence

We have used After Effects to create the titles that will appear on our opening sequence. These titles include: the name of the director, the names of the main actors, the names of the producers and the title of the film. We will add these titles once we have organised the editing of the footage.
