A Rough Storyline

The film begins with a young girl, Jessie being followed on her way home. She is abducted and taken to her kidnapper's house, the kidnapper drugs her and when she awakes she is tied up in the basement with a number of other girls in cages.

In-between being tortured by her kidnapper and another woman, she learns from the other girls that they are being sold to an Eastern European sex ring to be used. Jessie tries to encourage the other girls to escape but they are too scared and tell the kidnapper of her plan. Jessie is beaten and tortured as a result.

Weeks past and girls come and go, just as Jessie is losing hope a tradesman arrives to the house to fix a broken boiler. While he's working, Jessie screams for help but he seems not to notice, the kidnapper and his wife get drunk that evening and Jessie fears that they will kill her. Being drunk makes the kidnapper careless and he passes out on the sofa, leaving the door to his house unlocked. The tradesman returns with a police officer that night and manages to rescue Jessie.


Our opening sequence involves the kidnapping/abduction of Jessie, introducing her character to the audience and creating a sense of mystery.
