As I decided to choose the HORROR genre, I will research the different conventions found within horror film opening scenes. I will be looking at opening sequences from the following films:

Test Footage / Practising Filming a Range of Shots

We filmed some practise shots to get used to the camera. We shot a range of different shots and camera movements which will help us when we film for the final time. Here are some examples:

Titles For Our Opening Sequence

We have used After Effects to create the titles that will appear on our opening sequence. These titles include: the name of the director, the names of the main actors, the names of the producers and the title of the film. We will add these titles once we have organised the editing of the footage.
