Spider-Man Analysis

SPIDER-MAN OPENING SCENE:

- Company logos.
- Title of the film.
- Opening credits - in a particular order with the main star's name being showed first.
- De-saturated lighting and red and blue colours used to match the theme/genre of the film.
- Non-diegetic music played in order to build up suspense for the audience.
- The use of the spider-web illustrations helps to signify the genre of the film, the target audience and the narrative without giving too much away.
- The main character is introduced through the use of a voiceover and to also set the scene, this helps the audience to gain a deeper understanding on the character and the character's traits and perhaps his interests.
- The first character that is introduced to us, helps the audience to predict his importance within the rest of the film.

Titles For Our Opening Sequence

We have used After Effects to create the titles that will appear on our opening sequence. These titles include: the name of the director, the names of the main actors, the names of the producers and the title of the film. We will add these titles once we have organised the editing of the footage.
