For my coursework, I will be creating my own opening sequence for a film from a genre of my choice. The opening sequence may introduce a character, identify the genre or create mystery for the audience. It will also include titles such as the name of the film and names of actors. To begin with I will look at a number of different sequences from different genres to look for similarities and differences, and to get a better understanding of the conventions of opening sequences. The films are "The Greatest Showman", "Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets" and "Hannah Montana". Examples:
